We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team at ToBeIT. As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions for our clients in the aeronautic sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Align with the Product Team and Cloud Engineers Local Guild to ensure seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Commit to working based on cloud best practices and the Well Architected Framework.
  • Proactively identify and propose improvements to existing cloud infrastructure.
  • Empower the Developers Team in cloud adoption and provide guidance on cloud-based solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Cloud Engineers team to ensure great communication and knowledge sharing.
  • Review and implement deployment infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, and K8S.
  • Design and implement tools' agents, such as Dynatrace, Datadog, and Splunk.
  • Review and improve application events and technical logs.
  • Identify potential security issues and communicate them to the Solutions Architect.
  • Deployability, Scalability, and Performance: Review and implement high scalable and optimized solutions.
  • Implement stability patterns, such as service mesh and rollback strategy.

Methodology and Skills:

  • Agile (Scrum) methodology.
  • Infrastructure as code.
  • Observability practices.
  • Relational, key-value, and document databases.
  • Application Performance Analysis.
  • Performance and load testing.
  • Test Driven Development.
  • Domain Driven Design.
  • Object Oriented Programming and Design.
  • Hexagonal and Event Driven architectures.
  • Java with Spring Boot.
  • JS with Angular.

Team Collaboration:

  • You will be part of an agile team with a Product Owner, QA, Scrum Master, and a Cloud Engineers Local Guild.
  • Collaborate with the Software Engineering Team for architectural, design, or other high-level problems.
  • Work with DevSecOps and other Cloud Engineers for specific needs.
  • Receive guidance and support from Tech Leads and Solutions Architects.
