Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Planning Engineer to join our team in Barcelona. As a Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for developing schedules compliant with the selected execution strategy, defining and optimizing necessary resources, and implementing the Planning & Scheduling system.
Responsibilities:- Develop a Schedule compliant with the selected execution strategy.
- Define and optimize the necessary resources.
- Implement the Planning & Scheduling system.
- Define the Project breakdown structures.
- Plan to ensure work fronts at site.
- Plan to mitigate risks and reduce costs.
- Get client approval of the Schedule Baseline.
- Get client approval of progress claimed or milestones achievement.
- Increase project team members' awareness of Project Milestones, main durations, and critical paths.
- Monitor the project status, detect any delay, and propose corrective actions.
- Provide feedback and lessons learned to improve Planning & Scheduling methods.
- Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Advanced level of knowledge in EPCm work processes.
- Experience in cost control (not mandatory).
- Advanced knowledge of Scheduling computer tools (Primavera Project Planner and Microsoft Project).
- Microsoft Office.
- Power BI.
- Fluent in English.
- French and German valuable.
