Accounts Payable Coordinator - Intermodal Settlements

Work Environment:

This position is remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule. Typical hours are Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM ET.

Compensation:

The salary range for this role is competitive, reflecting the skills and experience required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices from carriers and vendors.
• Engage with agents, carriers, and external parties to address payment inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Conduct thorough research to resolve any discrepancies related to payables.
• Process necessary adjustments to carrier payments.
• Manage incoming calls within the department's call queue.
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in a professional office setting.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable.
• 1 year of experience in Data Entry.

Skills and Competencies:

• Prior experience in Accounts Payable.
• Familiarity with Accounts Payable software systems.
• Proficient data entry skills, with a minimum typing speed of 88 kpm.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Above-average analytical and mathematical abilities.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
