About the Role

We're seeking a talented Video Editor to join our team at Oliver Agency, a leading specialist in designing and running bespoke in-house agencies and marketing ecosystems for brands. As a Video Editor, you will work closely with our client, a leader in the spirits industry, to create high-quality still and moving content, including animation, editing, and delivery.

This role will also support a wide range of internal and external communications needs, including executive presentations, employee digital communications, and brand support. You will work collaboratively with our team of 13, consisting of integrated designers, community managers, motion designers, and account managers, to create engaging content for internal and external use.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce high-quality video content under tight deadlines
  • Understand what makes great content, especially for social media, and apply best practices for making social assets and mobile-first content
  • Liaise across various departments with clear communication
  • Receive a toolkit and localized brief, with footage and/or a shot list, script, or storyboard to create masters for different formats and sizes
  • Produce creative motion graphics and editing work with a clear rationale to accompany the brief
  • Digitally cut files to put together sequencing and decide what is best suited
  • Create adaptations from master files into multiple outputs
  • Create 2D animations, motion graphics, videos, GIFs, and other digital content
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a talented and well-rounded editor who can work well under tight deadlines. You should have a thorough understanding of how different digital channels present different challenges and opportunities. You will also need to be able to liaise across various departments with clear communication and work independently as part of a team.
