Campus Graduate Production Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Campus Graduate Production Engineer to join our team at Dow Chemical Iberica S.L. as a Technical Optimization Specialist. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in optimizing plant operations, resolving technical issues, and ensuring safe and efficient production of high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the operations team to leverage your problem-solving skills and technical expertise to optimize plant performance.
- Elevate and apply knowledge of the plant and technology, referencing historical data and conferring with subject matter experts (SMEs) as needed.
- Ensure the effective utilization of Most Effective Technology (MET) and process automation to optimize plant performance.
- Partner with experts to perform advanced troubleshooting and improve operating discipline.
- Diagnose and document root causes of asset utilization losses in the facility.
- Conduct daily review of logbook and alarm history to better understand plant operations and stay engaged with daily activities.
- Maintain, own, and review daily Key Process Indicators (KPI)/trends to ensure optimum performance.
- Respond urgently to plant issues and emergencies.
- Act as a unit technical expert during unplanned events and drive implementation of effective corrective and preventative actions.
- Provide leadership, expertise, diagnosis, and optimization in plant Raw Material Efficiency, which may include yield or waste generation.
- Ensure compliance with plant operating permits.
- Understand site integration and provide input to optimize the overall system.
We are looking for a recent Bachelor or Master Graduate in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Material Science/Metallurgical Engineering.
