**Job Summary**
Accor Hotels is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rooms Controller to join our team. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our rooms and guest services.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Block all VIP and FPC rooms 7 days in advance based on established standards and guidelines.
- Block all special requests and long stay guests 7 days in advance based on established standards and guidelines.
- Ensure all guest reservations are accurately reflected in our communication tools to ensure seamless service during the guest's stay.
- Maintain close communication with the Housekeeping Department regarding special requests and deliveries to blocked rooms.
- Review group reservations to ensure all areas of Front Desk, Guest Services, Royal Service, VIP, Concierge, and Valet are communicated and understood.
- Place all relevant information in Property Manager and communicate with the Assistant Front Office Manager for scheduling purposes.
- Maintain a balanced inventory of all room categories 30 days in advance, with reviews at 10 days, 5 days, and the day prior.
- Communicate any potential challenges to the Front Desk Manager/Assistant Front Office Manager.
- Comply with all Accor Hotels standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Review room queue and work with Housekeeping to expedite turnover.
- Coordinate with Guest Services to communicate room readiness and luggage delivery.
- Ensure the strict safekeeping of guests' personal data and maintenance of privacy.
- Handle Due-Out and Discrepancy updating in communication with the Housekeeping Department.
- Respond to guest queries in a positive and professional manner.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and nametag while working.
- Follow all department policies, procedures, and service standards, including all safety policies.
**Requirements**
- Passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Highly organized, results-oriented, and able to work well under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly responsible and reliable.
- Fluency in English, with a secondary language preferred.
