The Customer Trust team is the face of Datadog's security organization, serving as the primary point of contact for our customers. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for translating customer security and compliance requirements into the overall Datadog information security program.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with the sales organization to address customer security needs, including responding to security questionnaires and customer calls.
- Collaborate with the legal organization during customer contract negotiations to review security terms.
- Assist in improving and maintaining Datadog's customer-facing security page.
- Work closely with a 10-person team to become an expert on Datadog's security practices.
- Analyze customer security requirements and roadmaps to help steer security features for Datadog.
- Bachelor's degree in information security, information systems management, or computer science, or equivalent experience in compliance, information security policy, information security operations, and/or information security consulting.
- Exposure to one or more compliance frameworks, such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or PCI DSS.
- Understanding of the sales process, sales reporting, and the general nature of sales.
- Knowledge of the current privacy landscape and regulations, including GDPR and CCPA.
- Ability to independently own and manage multiple tasks and high-priority projects.
- Fluency in English and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively synthesize technical information and translate it into higher-level responses.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to correctness.
- Team player with excellent collaboration skills.
