About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Payroll Configuration Specialist to join our team at Alight. As a key member of our Center of Excellence (COE) team, you will play a critical role in configuring and setting up country payroll solutions using our Alight Cloud Pay framework.

As a Technical Payroll Configuration Specialist, you will work closely with our Payroll Country Owners (PCOs), Product Management, Engineering, and QA teams to ensure that our country payroll solutions are set up correctly and meet the highest standards of quality and consistency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a deep understanding of Alight's Cloud Pay framework and its capabilities.
  • Configure and set up country payroll solutions using Alight Cloud Pay's low-code/no-code framework.
  • Test payroll configurations and updates to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Identify and resolve payroll system issues and discrepancies.
  • Maintain and adhere to Alight Cloud Pay's best practices and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and guides for Alight Cloud Pay framework capabilities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in human resources, finance, business administration, information technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in payroll processing and/or payroll system configuration.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and oral).
