Job Summary

Eurovision Services is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Architect to join our IT Team at our technology hub in Madrid, Spain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-availability cloud and on-premise networks for IT and Digital Broadcast services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cloud-based and on-premise security solutions to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of our network infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with other members of the DataCom team to develop and maintain ES high-availability cloud and on-premise networks.
  • Be involved in the delivery of services to our customers, partners, and members, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of technical issues.
  • Monitor and guarantee performance and availability of network services, identifying and addressing potential issues before they impact our operations.
  • Handle level 2 support and service requests, providing expert technical guidance and support to our internal teams and external partners.
  • Suggest enhancements of our network and processes based on the needs of our customers, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Be involved in the setup of temporary IT and digital broadcast networks to deliver major events worldwide, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality results.
  • Produce documentation in English, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of our network infrastructure and technical processes.
  • Work during office hours with on-call availability outside office hours on a rotating basis, ensuring 24/7 support and coverage.

Requirements

  • 5 to 10+ years of experience as a network security engineer or architect, with a strong background in cloud and on-premise network design and implementation.
  • Excellent knowledge of networking environments, including Cisco switching and routing products (e.g., Catalyst, Nexus, ISR, ASR).
  • Experience with Cisco ACI is a plus, as is knowledge of OSPF and BGP routing, IPv4 multicast, DNS, NTP, DHCP, SMTP, HTTP, SIP, SSL/TLS, and PKIs.
  • Excellent knowledge of IPSEC VPN, with knowledge of OpenVPN a plus.
  • Good understanding of IPv6 connectivity and firewalling, as well as cloud computing, especially AWS.
  • Valid AWS Advanced Networking certification would be a plus.
  • Self-management and ability to work independently with limited supervision, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working effectively with remote teams, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
