Job DescriptionJob Title: Technical UI Designer
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Technical UI Designer to join our team at Thirtyfirstunion. As a Technical UI Designer, you will play a significant role in shaping the user experience and visual language to support both the art and overall game design on our project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with designers, artists, and engineers to craft a rich and immersive interactive experience that balances the needs of gameplay design and art direction.
- Develop and implement UI/UX solutions that meet the needs of our game.
- Work closely with development partners to ensure delivery of Triple-A game quality visuals.
- Design and develop UI assets, including icons, buttons, and other interactive elements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends and best practices.
Requirements:
- Strong UI abilities that demonstrate a strong grasp and understanding of the needs of UI in an interactive game experience.
- Well-organized and able to prioritize, plan, and organize UI asset creation.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Experience in prototyping software (Adobe XD, Balsamiq, Axure RP, Figma, etc.).
- Experience working in game engines (e.g. UE4, Unity, and other proprietary or commercial engines), design toolsets, and production pipelines is strongly desired; scripting knowledge is a major plus (Blueprints or other).
- Proficiency in production software such as Photoshop and Illustrator (or equivalent software for asset generation) is required; motion graphics and animation proficiency is a major plus.
- Able to work and communicate in English.
