Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Automation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Group Data Office, you will drive BASF's overall Data Management and contribute to the efficient and compliant use of data within the organization.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement AI governance processes and tools to ensure efficiency, consistency, and scalability of Data & AI Governance practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure policies and best practices are reflected by the governance processes and tools.
- Monitor and assess data & AI governance practices to identify areas for improvement and automation opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data & AI governance automation.
- Design and implement automated data quality checks, metadata management, and data access controls.
- Provide training and guidance to stakeholders on data & AI governance tools and best practices.
- Master's degree in computer science, information systems, mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of data & AI governance frameworks, principles, and best practices, as well as corresponding regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in governance automation tools and technologies.
- Solid knowledge of data quality, metadata management, data lineage, and data access control concepts.
- Proven experience in process engineering and automation, ideally for data governance, data management, or a related field.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a highly dynamic environment.
