About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director Supply Chain Operations Europe to lead our global logistics efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the in-market supply chain operations of Organon Europe, including Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Germany, Ireland, UK, and the Nordics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply Chain Management Strategy: Design and implement effective supply chain management strategies to drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Supply Chain Budget and Performance: Develop and manage supply chain budgets and performance metrics to ensure optimal service and performance ratios.
  • Logistics Operations: Oversee logistics operations, including transportation, customs brokerage, and freight forwarding, to ensure seamless supply chain execution.
  • Import and Export Operations: Manage import and export operations, including trade compliance and regulatory requirements, to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
  • Performance Analytics: Analyze supply chain performance data to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous innovation.
Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience in running complex supply chains.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or industrial engineering or relevant field.
  • Proven track record in successfully managing relationships with commercial organizations and driving sales and strategy.
  • Proven track record in managing larger teams and driving employee satisfaction.
  • Understanding of regional SCM environment and in-market distribution and warehouse operations with third parties.
  • Transformation experience and proven track record of continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills and ability to effectively manage horizontally and vertically.
