Job Title: Associate Director/Director

About the Role:

Fitch Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Associate Director/Director to join our Global Infrastructure and Project Finance Group (GIG). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert analysis and guidance on credit ratings for companies and non-recourse project finance transactions in the transportation, energy, and social infrastructure sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake credit ratings on new transactions as Primary or Secondary Analyst.
  • Conduct regular reviews on existing public and private ratings.
  • Assess the potential impact of developments on rated transactions and maintain contact with related parties.
  • Present credits to internal rating committees.
  • Participate in rating committees for other rated transactions.
  • Prepare rating action and non-rating action commentaries and reports for publication.
  • Represent Fitch in external meetings and discuss GIG criteria, rating approach, and sector trends with Bankers, Issuers, and Investors.

Requirements:

  • Ability to identify key risk factors in a transaction.
  • Solid experience in analytical roles within a credit rating agency, financial services firm, investment management, or corporates within the transport infrastructure sector.
  • Understanding and exposure to both project finance and corporate structures.
  • Prior experience in infrastructure sectors.
  • Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills to support analysis.
  • Demonstrable superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in English is a prerequisite.
