About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Officer to join our team at the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS). As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for leading the setup and implementation of purchasing strategies aligned with our Domain Purchasing Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to secure our business needs.
  2. Supplier Management: Manage frame contracts with suppliers to ensure optimal cost-effective balance of local and global sourcing options.
  3. Performance Evaluation: Evaluate supplier performance in terms of quality, price, technology, delivery, and project development.
  4. Reporting and Analysis: Conduct purchasing reporting and analysis as requested to inform business decisions.
  5. Delivery Performance: Track delivery performance and support procurement activities for key suppliers.
  6. Sourcing Strategy: Implement NPI sourcing strategy and make sourcing decisions on time to meet business needs.
  7. Benchmarking: Benchmark to find the best cost sourcing options to maintain competitiveness.
  8. Ad Hoc Duties: Undertake any ad hoc duties as assigned by the Domain Purchasing Manager.
Requirements:
  1. Experience: Minimum 3 years of work experience in the field of purchase and project management.
  2. Skills: Good knowledge of purchase processes and project management, experience in contract/price negotiations and sourcing, and proficiency in English and Spanish languages.
  3. Personal Qualities: A good team player who is proactive, independent, and resourceful.
