Job Summary
The role of the Procurement Trainee is to support the Strategic Sourcing Department in various aspects of procurement, including supplier relationship management and negotiation processes. As a Procurement Trainee at Radisson Hotel Group, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with communications to Area Procurement Teams, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure seamless collaboration and coordination.
- Follow-up on contacts with potential new suppliers and request product samples to evaluate their offerings.
- Initiate commercial negotiations and draft contractual agreements with suppliers to secure the best possible terms.
- Conduct financial analysis on supplier proposals and RFPs for projects, products, and services to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Analyze and monitor data to identify trends and areas for improvement in procurement processes.
- Follow-up on contract implementation to ensure timely and successful execution.
- Provide support to the department with international awards and recognition programs.
Requirements
- Interest in the procurement function and a willingness to learn and grow.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Proactive and resilient with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to think outside the box and come up with innovative solutions.
- Fluent in English; Spanish is desired.
