Penetration Testing Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Penetration Testing Security Specialist to join our team at Amazon Data Services Spain, S.L. - C94. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality penetration testing services to ensure the security and integrity of our cloud-based systems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Advanced Security Testing: Conduct thorough penetration testing of complex proprietary software and hardware for AWS services, identifying vulnerabilities and providing recommendations for remediation.
- Manual Source Code Auditing: Manually audit the source code of web services and software authored in-house by Amazon, identifying security issues and providing clear communication on findings to developers.
- Proof of Concept Development: Write proof of concept code to demonstrate the severity of potential security issues, providing actionable insights for developers to address.
- Collaboration and Communication: Partner with AWS developers to drive improvement in application security, providing clear communication on issues and suggesting fixes.

Requirements- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in security testing (penetration testing, vulnerability testing, red teaming, bug hunting, or CTF experience).
- Technical Skills: Minimum 1 year of experience with manually auditing source code (Java, Ruby, Python, JavaScript, Rust, C, or other languages) to find security issues, and scripting in Python or other equivalent interpreted languages.
- Security Engineering Practices: Minimum 1 year of professional experience with security engineering practices such as web application security, network security, authentication and authorization protocols, cryptography, automation, and other software security disciplines.
- AWS Experience: Experience with AWS technologies and services (e.g., S3, Lambda, EC2, KMS, IAM, etc.).
- Bug Hunting and Development: Experience with bug hunting, bug bounties, capture the flag, software development.
- Programming Languages: Experience with multiple programming languages.
