About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer in our Engineering department, you will participate in building the Collectors, endpoint agents that run on the systems of millions of employees. Your primary responsibility will be to create comprehensive and reliable solutions for several platforms, using the best from each platform. You will work on complex and critical parts of Nexthink products, requiring the highest level of reliability and performance on each platform.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced software developer with a strong understanding of operating systems internals. You should have at least 7-10 years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of leading or contributing to significant projects. You should be fluent in C++ and have experience with kernel-mode software development. Additionally, you should be able to navigate and debug complex code using available tools and have strong attention to detail.

Requirements
  • At least 7-10 years of experience in software development
  • Very good demonstrable understanding of operating systems internals
  • Experience in software development on Windows and/or macOS platforms close to OS level
  • Fluency in C++
  • Proven experience leading or being an important contributor to one or more significant projects
  • Consistently write concise and well-tested code
  • Ability to navigate and debug complex code using available tools
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to do OS-level research
  • Experience in kernel-mode software development is an advantage
  • Experience in multi-platform/cross-platform development, especially on Windows and macOS platforms, is also an advantage
