Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join our team in Spain. As a key member of our Finance department, you will be responsible for leading the budgeting process, ensuring accurate accounting, and providing financial analyses to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the budgeting process for the specified therapeutic area within Spain and Portugal businesses.
  • Ensure accounting is accurate, complete, and recorded in line with Gilead policy and processes, Spanish and Portugal Local GAAP, and US GAAP.
  • Develop and deliver accurate and timely monthly management reporting, including financials, revenue, and operating expense reporting.
  • Develop financial analyses and ad-hoc analyses to support senior management in making tactical and strategic decisions.
  • Drive continuous process improvement, efficiency, and best practices within finance and the wider organization.
Requirements
  • Experience in a senior financial planning and analysis role in a complex matrixed environment.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge of Local GAAP and a good knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Strong decision-making, critical thinking, and analytics skills, coupled with high business acumen.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with multiple functions at all levels.
  • Experience of managing or driving improvement/transformation projects within a finance setting.
