About the Role
As a Big Data Developer Intern, you will have the chance to:
- Develop software using Spark/Scala or Python, working on real-world projects that drive business growth.
- Create unitary and integration tests for applications, ensuring the highest quality of our software.
- Monitor application support of ingestion platforms, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation, sharing your knowledge with the team and contributing to our collective expertise.
Your Skills and Experience
We're looking for someone who:
- Is an active student with a strong academic record, preferably from a Spanish University.
- Has a passion for developing a career in the tech field, with a focus on data science and analytics.
- Is available for at least 6 months, with a flexible schedule to accommodate part-time or internship commitments.
- Has a tech-savvy approach, with experience in Scala and SQL, and a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Is an enthusiastic, capable, and curious individual who thrives in a team environment.
- Can communicate effectively in English, working with colleagues and managers from diverse backgrounds.
- Has experience with Azure/AWS, although this is not a requirement.
