A challenging opportunity has arisen for a Staff Engineer to join our Data Engineering team at OLX. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for re-architecting the Tracking framework to improve its accuracy.
Key Responsibilities- Understand the architecture of our web platforms and identify areas where tracking may be different or difficult to transmit information.
- Design an implementation framework that matches the technical reality of all countries and propose solutions to identified pain points.
- Work with the chief data officer and engineering managers to implement the framework and improve tracking accuracy.
- Audit the implementation of GA4 and provide guidance on leveraging its value.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 7+ years of professional experience in software development with expertise in backend technologies.
- Strong understanding of software design, object orientation, architectural patterns, and delivery patterns.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, testing automation, and CI/CD processes.
- Passion for architecting, building, and scaling distributed systems.
