We are seeking a highly skilled Database DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will play a critical role in optimizing the reliability, availability, scalability, and performance of our expansive IT infrastructure, spanning on-premises and public cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities- Apply software engineering principles across the entire lifecycle, from inception to decommissioning, to build and manage large-scale IT infrastructure products and services.
- Optimize database services reliability, availability, capacity, and performance, and eliminate work through automation and software development.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, enabling developers to easily build, test, and deploy their applications.
- Ensure IT infrastructure services meet and exceed the highest standards by monitoring and resolving incidents/problems, suggesting priorities, and collaborating in the resolution when required.
- Implement cost, compliance, and security best practices, ensuring that database platforms and services meet the corresponding requirements and ensure implemented solutions and components comply with Quality/Regulatory standards.
- 3-5 years of experience with a minimum Bachelor's degree; Master's preferred.
- Expertise in both on-premise and in public cloud databases, with a preference for Open Source solutions (i.e., PostgreSQL, MySQL, AWS RDS, Aurora), NoSQL (i.e., MongoDB, GraphDB, DocumentDB, Azure CosmosDB), as well as Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle experience.
