Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

Deutsche Bank is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to lead the technical aspects of a delivery team, overseeing software engineering and design decisions, guiding team members in technical matters, and supervising system modifications in response to business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish initiative specifications and technical direction.
  • Foster the use of existing frameworks, technical standards, and procedures.
  • Oversee software quality and system modifications.
  • Guide team members with troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Ensure Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) are properly considered to deliver sustainable, scalable, and resilient products.
  • Establish a continuous improvement approach on delivered products.
  • Ensure IT Application Life Cycle standards are met in ongoing enhancements and maintenance.
  • Align application changes with the application strategy and technology roadmap.
  • Identify and manage risks and issues associated with the application.
  • Set the technical direction of a product/application and be its technical owner.
  • Maximize operational availability and stability.
  • Ensure cost efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Technical guidance and decision-making skills.
  • Experience and solid knowledge of software engineering, systems testing, design patterns, and software architecture.
  • Experience in application solutions from a technological perspective, with the ability to understand key aspects of technical platforms and infrastructure.
  • Development background with demonstrated experience as an analyst.
