About the Role

As a Research Associate within the Data Researcher Services team at Boston Consulting Group, you will play a critical role in providing specialized research support to our consulting teams. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct in-depth research analyses, consolidating and elaborating research results to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain expertise in specialized research tools, databases, and sources.
  • Conduct research analyses, evaluating source quality and data accuracy, and proactively identifying and raising research-related issues.
  • Engage in thought partnership with consulting teams to understand, scope, and deliver accurate, timely, and relevant data and information.
  • Coach Research Associates and outsourcing partners, as well as deliver data quality analysis with them.
  • Utilize strong analytical thinking to provide advanced synthesis and develop deep expertise in specialized research tools, databases, and sources.
Requirements
  • 2-4+ years of relevant working/research experience in a due diligence or Private Equity transaction context.
  • Experience researching/analysing financial statements, MA, or investments/divestments will be valued.
  • Bachelor's degree with a strong preference for business, economics, engineering, or sciences.
  • Excellent research analysis skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Effective critical thinking and solution-oriented mindset to solve customer research/analysis problems.
  • Creative thinking, able to propose innovative research strategies and navigate ambiguity and complexity.
  • Excellent English; fluency in Spanish and German is beneficial.
