Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our growing engineering department and contribute to our Core Platform team in EMEA. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, develop, deploy, and operate business-critical features that drive customer value.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality, scalable software solutions using Ruby and Typescript/Node.js
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, and deliver end-to-end features
- Ensure operational excellence, metrics, observability, and best practices are upheld
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the growth of the engineering organization
- Participate in product and platform performance optimization and live site monitoring
Requirements
- At least 5+ years of experience in back-end development, with a focus on delivering secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions
- Experience with Typescript/Node.js is a plus
- Extensive experience with AWS in a production environment, with a strong understanding of designing for high volume/high availability services
- Rigorous adherence to code quality and engineering best practices, including testability, maintainability, and clean architecture
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with diverse profiles and roles
