Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team at Marriott International. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing all payment methods in accordance with accounting procedures and policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process all payment methods, including cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment, in accordance with accounting procedures and policies.
  • Follow property control audit standards and cash handling procedures to ensure accuracy and security of cash transactions.
  • Count bank at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Transport bank to/from assigned workstation and maintain cleanliness of workstation at all times.
  • Set up and organize cashier workstation with designated supplies, forms, and resource materials.
  • Complete opening duties, including setting up necessary supplies and tools, and ensuring everything is in working order.
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and support team to reach common goals.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
  • Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • No related work experience required.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • No license or certification required.
