Job Title: Data Engineer and Business Analyst for Supply Chain Innovation

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer and Business Analyst to join our team at BASF Digital Hub Madrid. As a key member of our Artificial Intelligence (AI) Solutions for Supply Chains team, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative solutions to derive insights from data that support better and faster business decisions.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with project team members and stakeholders to understand business requirements and consult on activities.
  • Translate business requirements into technical concepts, focusing on data engineering, data products, and data architecture frameworks.
  • Drive the implementation of our GenAI-oriented Supply Chain Intelligence platform, including data integration, enterprise data product concepts, and data science-related aspects.
  • Create product requirement documents and maintain them in an agile working mode.
  • Manage communication with external vendors to validate landscape design and integration concepts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor or master's degree in information technology, software engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
  • 4+ years of professional experience in data engineering/data science.
  • Expert knowledge of Python, Microsoft Azure cloud components, and related technologies.
