About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team at Barcelona Activa. As a key member of our technology team, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and operating our cloud-based platform.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve our platform's performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate project functions and resources across the product life cycle.
  • Drive the automation of all development and operations processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a strong background in cloud platforms, including AWS.
  • Expertise in Unix, networking, and VPN technologies.
  • Proven experience in managing RDBMS and NoSQL systems.
  • Strong programming skills in languages like Shell, Go, or Python.
  • Experience with source code management tools like Git, and infrastructure as code tools like Chef and Terraform.
  • Monitoring tools experience, including Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Experience in SRE and data security approaches.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with continuous and iterative development in a cloud environment.
  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Very good command of English.
