About the TeamYou will be part of the Stargate Center of Expertise (CoE), a team of data strategists, engineers, architects, and platform specialists dedicated to unlocking the full potential of Swiss Re's data. We collaborate with various parts of the company to develop group-wide data assets and provide data-driven products and services to our clients.
About the RoleAs a Senior Data Strategist and Deployment Expert, you will:
- Work with business domains, group functions, and individual teams to shape their data strategies and ensure a smooth onboarding process to the Stargate platform.
- Proactively contribute to managing and cultivating a high-quality project pipeline, shaping new projects, coordinating execution with stakeholders, and overseeing project delivery.
- Take ownership of selected projects, drive them forward, and shape, plan, and execute communications and reporting activities for diverse audiences, including senior management.
- Contribute to the continuous expansion and improvement of the Stargate CoE's product and service offering, including core group data assets, analytics capabilities, and training and enablement.
- Engage with teams across the company, build and deliver demos, and foster the adoption of Stargate.
We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate individual with a Master's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science, physics, econometrics, economics). You should have strong entrepreneurial and analytical skills, with a genuine passion for making organizations more data-driven. Proficiency in Python (ideally using PySpark) and programming skills in SQL and Typescript/JavaScript are highly desirable.
