Job Summary
The Novartis Farmacéutica team is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer Lead to oversee the OT scope of Semi-automated and Automated lines being deployed and operated across the RLT Network. This role requires strong leadership and technical expertise to manage a team of Automation Specialists responsible for managing the automation and computer system validation for an automated manufacturing line used in radioligand therapies.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of Automation Specialists responsible for the operation and maintenance of an automated manufacturing line for radioligand therapies, ensuring smooth operations and efficient collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Oversee the OT and computer system validation processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices, collaborating with stakeholders to identify and address any issues or challenges.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the performance, reliability, and efficiency of the OT systems used on the automated manufacturing lines, working closely with the automated line vendor to ensure timely delivery and effective troubleshooting.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team, ensuring their continuous professional development and growth, and monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, advancements, and regulations related to automation in radioligand therapy manufacturing, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in the team's work.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in managing teams in an automation or manufacturing environment, with a strong track record of leadership and technical expertise.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of automation systems, computer system validation, and regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry, with proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, and strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and driving continuous improvement.
