Job Summary
Lead and manage Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) assessments, with a focus on LCA Pooling in India.
Plan and evaluate LCA/PCF assessments, manage LCA workload with LCA Pooling, and review results to ensure quality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and lead LCA/PCF assessments and evaluate results to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Manage LCA workload with LCA Pooling in India and review results to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Train and support junior colleagues and newcomers in LCA/PCF methodologies and tools.
- Contribute to training materials development and support the deployment of LCA methodologies within the business group/project group.
- Provide guidance on data collection from various networks (industry, purchasing, projects, logistics, R&D) for LCA/PCF.
- Support R&D platforms and project teams in achieving CAP50 milestones related to CLEAN initiatives.
- Identify actions to reduce PCF and evaluate potential associated CO2 impacts.
- Improve LCA/PCF methodologies, emission factors database tools, and enhance the LCA/PCF methodology, tools, and data.
- Participate in transversal working groups on LCA topics, such as material emission factors, process emission factors, LCA methodology, and electronic emission factors/methodology.
- Participate in external third-party reviews and supplier meetings related to LCA.
- Contribute to the development of LCA/PCF results and showcase them to OEMs upon request.
- Participate in working groups and initiatives on LCA topics, such as Catena-X, PFA, CLEPA, UNECE, CICES, and TranSensus.
