About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Resident Automation Technician to join our team at E80 Group S.P.A. in Barbastro, Spain. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of complex systems at our client's plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the proper functioning of the plant in compliance with KPIs and contractual performance.
  • Collaborate with technical offices for problem resolution, on-site and remote interventions, procurement, and shipment of spare parts.
  • Perform corrective maintenance and troubleshooting activities on installed machinery.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance activities according to maintenance plans.
  • Report to the customer and E80 Group regarding performed activities, anomalies, and corrective actions.
  • Foster improvement activities, modifications, and possible solutions.
  • Perform on-the-job training to the customer's personnel.
  • Manage spare parts available on site and suggest reorder points and purchases as needed.
  • Organize, manage, and update security documentation requested by the customer.
Requirements
  • Technical qualification in electromechanical field or industrial automation.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in electromechanical or transfer technician, electrician, or automation engineer roles.
  • Good understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings.
  • Knowledge of Siemens PLC, Beckhoff, Fanuc, Allen Bradley; Rockwell not mandatory but considered a plus.
  • Desire to make a difference and represent E80 Group in front of the customer.
  • Excellent communication skills, intuition, and strong autonomy.
  • Proactivity and outstanding problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Curiosity in learning new technologies and managerial aspects.
  • Stress resistance and ability to work under pressure.
  • Fluent in Spanish (spoken and written); intermediate in English or Italian (spoken and written).
  • Driving license and car required.
  • Permanent rights to work in Spain, with no restrictions.
