GMV is seeking a skilled project coordinator for our space initiatives; someone who is passionate about their work, and possesses the talent and experience necessary to lead our Mission Control Center team and contribute to the advancement of aerospace technology.

At GMV, excellence and adaptability in design, production, and evaluation are core principles of our operations. We ensure the quality of our processes through rigorous testing and verification, maintaining traceability of all activities undertaken. Our adaptability stems from our close collaboration with clients and a supplier-agnostic strategy. This approach not only facilitates effective communication but also empowers our commercial clients to play a significant role in the design process. Consequently, we develop the most adaptable spacecraft platforms, allowing for modifications from subsystem suppliers without significantly affecting the overall mission. Our systems and AIV engineers collaborate closely with clients to make informed decisions and engage them throughout the process.

Our team has refined a work methodology that adheres to the stringent quality standards established by the European Space Agency (ESA) and the European Cooperation for Space Standardization (ECSS). All our management, system engineering, and AIV processes are structured around these standards.

The selected candidate will act as the liaison for space projects with our clients. They will serve as the primary contact for clients and stakeholders regarding these projects. Additionally, the candidate will oversee the coordination of the technical team's activities involved in the project, as well as monitor costs, deliverables, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee multiple projects simultaneously. Develop project plans and monitor progress. Identify potential risks or challenges during project execution. Facilitate communication with clients and stakeholders to track action items, resolve issues, and agree on scope changes. Organize meetings and milestone reviews with clients. Coordinate the technical team across various disciplines to meet project objectives. Monitor project costs and time allocation in accordance with project plans and internal processes. Report project metrics, risks, and deviations to the operations team.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing technical projects. Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to international clients and stakeholders. Proactive problem-solving attitude. Excellent organizational abilities. Proficient in English (C1 level or equivalent). Preferred knowledge includes: Familiarity with PMI and agile methodologies. Educational background in engineering. Experience with aerospace projects utilizing ECSS management standards. Understanding of ISO9001 and similar quality standards. Experience in team leadership. Experience in handling technical requirements.

The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills and be capable of working independently while collaborating within a potentially international and culturally diverse team.

Furthermore, the candidate should demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, and reporting skills, alongside a proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen interest in technological advancement.
