Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Bartender - Mixologist to join our team at Kimpton Vividora Barcelona. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Create a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests, setting the tone for a memorable experience.
- Describe the selection of beverages and menu items to guests, highlighting the origin, taste, and preparation methods of each item.
- Understand and memorize all recipes and descriptions of our products, spirits, food, cocktails, and other offerings.
- Manage inventory, ensure beverages are well-stocked, and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the working area.
- Assist colleagues with ad-hoc duties as needed and work collaboratively with restaurant and kitchen colleagues to provide seamless food service.
- Assess customers' needs and preferences, making recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Report and follow up on maintenance and repairs, ensuring the cleanliness of the bar and surrounding areas.
- Process cash and credit card payments, settle voided checks, and handle complimentary items.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience working in a hotel/bar as a bartender.
- Fluency in the local language and English; additional languages are highly valued.
- Proactive, positive, energetic, dynamic, empathetic, team-oriented, and passionate about service.
