SAP ABAP Developer Job Description

Global Enterprise Partners is seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Developer to join our team in Spain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining SAP ABAP programs and reports in accordance with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and customize SAP ABAP programs and reports to meet business needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and efficiency of developed programs
  • Support system enhancements, upgrades, and integrations, adhering to best practices and standards
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP systems, addressing issues quickly to minimize downtime and disruption
  • Document development activities, configurations, and technical specifications for future reference and knowledge sharing
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of SAP ABAP development experience, including hands-on experience with ABAP Objects, BAPIs, BDCs, User Exits, and ALVs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively troubleshoot technical issues
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative approach to working in cross-functional environments
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • SAP certifications are a plus
  • Comprehension of English; Spanish at a high or native level

Location: Hybrid (occasional travel to Madrid may be requested)
Duration: 12 months
