**About the Role**

The Hotel Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for performing all daily, weekly, monthly, and other periodic accounting and financial reporting in an accurate and timely manner.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Perform analytical reviews of Financial Statements and explain any variances from Budget and Forecast.
  • Coordinate and perform month-end closing.
  • Prepare and maintain the accounting records of all MOHG entities associated with Hotel Ritz Madrid.
  • Respond to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data for all financial reporting entities.
  • Develop financial statements as and when required.
  • Assist the Assistant Financial Controller in the budgeting & forecasting processes.
  • Monitor Expense Management approach for any operational activities in all departments to ensure optimal efficiency and best performance.
  • Monitor departmental internal controls and create and implement Operating procedures as necessary.
  • Coordinate the submission of periodic MOHG reports (daily, weekly, and monthly).
  • Coordinate all CSAQ and ISAQ submissions and carry out respective follow-up.

**Requirements**

  • Mandatory Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting & Finance.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) emphasizing an overall extensive understanding of the applicable business and accounting issues, and technical accounting and financial reporting standards.
  • Solid knowledge of bookkeeping competencies.
  • Strong Level of Proficiency in Excel; ability to assemble, analyze, understand integrated spreadsheets and complex technical information.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Experience in Financial Accountant, Audit Services or similar role.
