Software Engineer I Maps

At Tomtom International Bv, we're seeking a skilled Software Engineer I Maps to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll play a crucial role in developing high-quality software that drives our business forward.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with a team of engineers to design, build, and test scalable, highly available, and resilient applications using optimal cloud technologies and programming languages.
  • Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, from gathering requirements to deployment, using agile methodologies.
  • Design technical solutions to solve complex technical problems at scale, leveraging your expertise in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis.
  • Work with a team to develop high-quality software that meets the needs of our customers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 1+ year of professional software development experience in at least one modern programming language (Java, Kotlin, or Scala).
  • Strong Computer Science and development fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Able to learn and expand your skill set to stay up-to-date with industry trends.
