We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our customers' medical equipment. This includes performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medical equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Conduct thorough troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders to provide timely updates and resolve issues.
  • Assist in the growth and direction of business in geographic area by identifying sales opportunities and collaborating with account teams.
  • Responsible for warranty and PMS contract cost control, ensuring timely completion of FMI's and PMS inspections documentation for assigned accounts.
  • Play a leading role in complex and multifunctional rooms, sharing best practices and maintaining effective quality systems and programs compliant with ISO 9001 standard.
Requirements
  • A diploma, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electromechanics or Biomedical Engineering Technology, or solid experience as Field Service Engineer.
  • Experience in electromedicine or imaging (healthcare sector).
  • Good technical skills with a systematic and thorough approach to problem solving.
  • The ability to plan and organize your work effectively, and to work with minimal direction.
  • Excellent interpersonal, listening and customer service skills – you can deal with differences of opinion tactfully and effectively, and you influence rather than direct.
  • Good knowledge of English language to properly play the information, successfully attend training courses and allow fluent communication in this language.
Preferred Qualifications
  • The ability to manage other people and resources.
  • A strong business acumen – you have a good understanding of the factors that influence customer behavior.
