Job Summary

Arfima Trading is seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Trader to join our team. As a Junior Quantitative Analyst, you will work closely with our Senior Trader to assist and learn all aspects of trading and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the trading team to analyze and implement existing and new strategies
  • Develop and maintain cutting-edge pricing models and hedging tools
  • Improve existing report and backtesting procedures within the desk

Requirements

  • MSc in maths, physics, engineering or other quantitative field
  • PhD or similar research experience highly valued
  • Strong knowledge of statistics and probability
  • Proficient programming skills in Python or Matlab
  • C++ and C# skills a plus
  • Good understanding of algorithms and data structures
  • Experience in building highly quantitative fixed income models highly valued
  • Knowledge of equity algorithmic strategies a plus
  • Strong communication skills in English
