Overview

We are seeking a Senior IT Auditor to oversee our auditing operations. This role is critical in ensuring that our risk management and control measures adhere to established standards and are devoid of errors.

Position Summary

This position provides a unique opportunity to significantly influence and enhance the organization's cybersecurity framework. You will not only participate in but also spearhead initiatives related to cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance. Working alongside seasoned professionals, you will direct the formulation and enforcement of cybersecurity policies and procedures, assess audit risks, and ensure alignment with international cybersecurity standards and regulations.

Our ideal candidate will possess a meticulous and analytical mindset, coupled with extensive knowledge of auditing methodologies. We expect reliability, strong organizational capabilities, and expertise in risk management and compliance.

Additionally, this role will offer technical assistance regarding Segregation of Duties.

Key Responsibilities

Governance

  • Assist in the creation and upkeep of cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Develop, execute, and monitor the Internal Audit Strategic and Annual Plan.
  • Review and enhance the cybersecurity governance framework.
  • Conduct thorough risk and control evaluations.

Risk Management

  • Collaborate in identifying, assessing, and mitigating cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Work with the team to implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Assist in tracking and reporting on risk reduction initiatives.

Compliance

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations, standards, and frameworks.
  • Lead compliance assessments and audits, ensuring all criteria are fulfilled.
  • Take a proactive role in addressing compliance findings, ensuring prompt and effective resolutions.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an IT auditor.
  • In-depth knowledge of auditing and control practices.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Integrity and dependability.

Networking/Key Relationships

Key users across various functional areas.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience Required

  • Degree in computer science, engineering, or demonstrable experience in Information Security.
  • A minimum of 4 years of proven experience in cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance.
  • Extensive knowledge of international cybersecurity standards, regulations, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO).
  • Familiarity with GRC platforms (Desirable: SAP GRC).
  • Strong analytical skills to assess and communicate complex cybersecurity challenges.
