Groupon is a leading e-commerce platform that enables customers to discover and book unique experiences and products. As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining our platform, ensuring a seamless user experience and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop full-stack applications using React, Node.js, Python, and associated frameworks like Flask, Express, and FastAPI.
  • Implement responsive front-end designs with tools like Tailwind CSS and component reuse services like Shadcn.
  • Implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) to ensure high-quality software development.
  • Engage in continuous integration and delivery processes.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in full-stack development.
  • Proficiency in React, Node.js, Python, Flask, Express.
  • Experience with databases like PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
  • Skilled in CI/CD, Git, and operational technologies (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD).
  • Comfortable working in agile and traditional environments.
  • Experience working with APIs, preferably Salesforce API.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Passion for coding and building efficient, scalable software.
  • Understanding of Kafka or similar messaging systems.
  • Understanding in monitoring systems like Prometheus or Grafana.
  • Understanding of component libraries and frameworks, such as ShadCN and Tailwind CSS.
  • Passionate about Agile and TDD methodologies.
  • Desire to keep up with industry trends and advancements in technology.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative development environment.
