Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior MuleSoft Engineer to join our Digital Banking team at Western Union. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative technology solutions to drive API development and enhancements on the MuleSoft platform.
About the Role
As a Senior MuleSoft Engineer, you will lead work on actionable and efficient technology solutions to drive API development and enhancements on the MuleSoft platform for the assigned region. You will demonstrate strong capabilities in assessing business needs while providing creative and effective solutions in conformance to emerging technology standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technology projects and mentor junior associates
- Design and implement innovative technology solutions to drive API development and enhancements on the MuleSoft platform
- Assess business needs and provide creative and effective solutions in conformance to emerging technology standards
- Develop technical & domain expertise and apply it in solving product challenges
- Conduct thorough code reviews
- Estimate engineering effort, plan implementation, and roll out applications with cross-functional and cross-regional impacts
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or related fields with 6+ years of professional experience or MS with 4+ years of experience
- Ability to lead technology projects and mentor junior associates
- Hands-on experience working with and managing the MuleSoft platform including Anypoint Studio, Exchange, and Connectors
- Proven track record of writing high-quality, efficient code to build new APIs or integrate various system functionalities using existing APIs
