Key Responsibilities- Design Cycle: Be involved in every step of the product design cycle, from discovery to developer handoff and user acceptance testing.
- Collaboration: Work with Business Analysts, Product Managers, and Technical Teams to lead the Product Design process.
- Design Quality: Maintain the quality of the design process and ensure that designs are accurately translated into code.
- Estimation: Accurately estimate design tickets during planning sessions.
- Sketching: Contribute to sketching sessions involving non-designers.
- UI Deliverables: Create, iterate, and maintain UI deliverables, including sketch files, style guides, high-fidelity prototypes, micro-interaction specifications, and pattern libraries.
- Data-Driven Design: Ensure design choices are data-led by identifying assumptions to test each sprint and working with analysts to plan moderated usability test sessions.
- Responsive Design: Design pixel-perfect responsive UIs and understand that adopting common interface patterns is better for UX than reinventing the wheel.
- Presentation: Present your work to the wider business at Show & Tell sessions.
- Experience: Have at least 3 years' experience working as a Product Designer.
- Tools: Have experience using Sketch and InVision or Framer X.
- Agile Environment: Have some previous experience working in an agile environment, with two-week sprints.
- Software: Be familiar with using Jira and Confluence in your workflow.
