We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our Investment Accounting and Administration department within Investment Management. As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining complex data pipelines and architectures in cloud-based databases.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop complex data pipelines and architectures in cloud-based databases
- Work with the team to understand platform capabilities and improve and expand those capabilities
- Support internal Investment Management clients and understand their unique needs and challenges
- Instill excellence into processes, methodologies, standards, and technology choices
- Embrace new concepts quickly to keep up with fast-moving data engineering technology
- 2+ years of Data Engineering experience, including 1+ years designing and building Databricks data pipelines
- Experience with conceptual, logical, and/or physical database designs
- 2+ years of hands-on Python/Pyspark/SparkSQL and/or Scala experience
- 1+ years of experience with Big Data pipelines or DAG Tools
- 2+ years of Spark experience, especially Databricks Spark and Delta Lake
- 2+ years of SQL experience, specifically to write complex, highly optimized queries across large volumes of data
