We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our team at Badiani1932. As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire production cycle in Spain, ensuring the production of high-quality gelato and gelato treats for our retail locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Health & Safety: Ensure the safety of the Production Team by implementing and maintaining agreed processes and procedures, maintaining a clean and tidy working environment, and conducting regular safety audits.
- Food Hygiene: Monitor Critical Control Points, oversee the review and maintenance of all production requirements, and maintain cleaning standards.
- Production Efficiency: Schedule daily and weekly team tasks, monitor production speed and performance, identify causes of delays, and implement ways to improve efficiency.
- Quality Control: Ensure our customers receive high-quality and inspiring products, maintain ingredient and product specifications, and ensure compliance with food standard regulations.
- Team Management: Conduct performance reviews, manage recruitment, oversee training and development, and manage team holidays and sickness.
Requirements:
- Several years of experience in the food production industry, with a track record of managing production operations.
- Knowledge and experience of food safety and quality control.
- Knowledge of food production processes, including processing techniques, packaging, and storing.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role, demonstrating leadership capabilities and team management.
- Relevant gelato production experience is highly desirable.
