We are seeking an experienced Python Developer/Team Lead to join our cross-cultural technical team and build efficient server-side applications for one of the biggest retail vendors in Mexico.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle and mentor team members.
- Help design and implement functional and non-functional requirements.
- Coordinate with development teams to determine application requirements.
- Build efficient back-end applications in Python.
- Design and implement REST APIs.
- Ensure the quality of the code.
- Deliver solutions into production.
- Mentor team members.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience successfully leading teams.
- Solid experience as a Python developer (3-5 years of experience).
- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming.
- Experience with Python frameworks (like Django, Flask).
- Knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and Python entity frameworks (like SQLAlchemy).
- Experience in building REST APIs.
- Understanding of the DevOps culture and experience with containers is a plus.
