Job Description:

The internship will be performed at the reception desk, providing exceptional customer service and support to guests. The tasks to be carried out come within the competency of the following departments:

  • Reception Desk Department:
    • Manage guest check-in and check-out processes
    • Coordinate room allocation and changes
    • Supervise the housekeeping department
    • Collaborate with the breakfast setup team
    • Assist with shift closing procedures
  • Booking Department:
    • Manage individual and group bookings, including revisions, modifications, cancellations, and special requests
    • Manage upgrades and downgrades
    • Manage group rooming lists
  • Concierge Department:
    • Sell tickets and provide information on hostel facilities
    • Offer information on the city and assist guests
    • Manage mail and packages
    • Inventory mini market and control equipment
  • Back Office:
    • Issue reports for management
    • Monitor guest comments and maintenance incidents
Requirements:
  • Pursuing tourism-related studies or participating in a convention allowing internship recognition
  • Fluent English and Spanish
  • Internships available for a minimum duration of 3 months
