We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Leader to join our team at Amazon. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for leading a large and diverse team to ensure the success of our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a High-Performing Team: You will be responsible for promoting a culture of safety and wellbeing, analysing and implementing corrective actions to ensure quality and productivity are at consistently high levels, and business objectives are met across all shifts.
- Drive Process Improvement: You will support and lead a team, handle administrative work, and build and support a strong team culture. You will also analyse performance and suggest process improvements to optimise work and improve customer service.
- Collaborate with Colleagues: You will work closely with other managers to standardise shift processes and collaborate with colleagues in other teams and external partners to ensure we stay on track to meet our customer demands and targets.
You will work shifts and be based at one of our operational sites. Your main focus will be to maintain safety standards within your team and across your site. You will also monitor and maintain process efficiency, prioritise routine team management and daily operational tasks, and work on individual escalations, process improvement work, and wide-scale operational contingency planning.
Requirements- Bachelor's Degree: You must have a Bachelor's degree (or working towards a bachelor's degree).
- Language Skills: You must have advanced proficiency in written and verbal English and local language.
- Relevant Experience: You must have relevant experience in performing data analysis.
- Communication Skills: You must have experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership.
- Logistical Experience: You must have experience in a logistical working environment.
- MS Office Skills: You must have experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment.
