Job Title: Solution Development Engineer

Are you passionate about developing innovative software solutions and skilled in software design and architecture? As a Solutions Development Engineer, you will play a crucial role in defining, designing, and developing new or upgraded software solutions.

About the Role
  • Define user requirements for the development of new (or upgrade of existing) software solutions.
  • Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies.
  • Propose viable technical solutions to Product Management and/or users for validation.
  • Develop software according to Amadeus standards.
  • Model, design, and implement databases.
  • Conduct unit, package, and performance tests, ensuring quality in line with Amadeus guidelines.
  • Participate in the validation phase of the product cycle, fine-tuning when necessary to finalize the product.
  • Support the customer by debugging existing solutions in collaboration with the Product Manager or Product Definition Analyst.
  • Produce software documentation necessary for the application and issue it to the requesting departments.
About You
  • You hold a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Have at least 5 years of experience in software development.
  • Strong programming skills in Java.
  • Experience in database modelling, design, and implementation.
  • Familiar with Agile methodologies and software development life cycle.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and can conduct thorough feasibility studies.
  • Proficient in conducting unit, package, and performance tests.
  • Strong communication skills and can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • You have a detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
