We are seeking a skilled Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer to join our client's dynamic team working on a cutting-edge data centre project.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and Develop Electrical Systems: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations for electrical and instrumentation systems in data centre projects.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Integrate E&I systems seamlessly into project designs and specifications, working closely with other teams to achieve project goals.
- Conduct Site Assessments and Inspections: Evaluate the feasibility and efficiency of proposed E&I solutions, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Oversee Installation, Testing, and Commissioning: Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards for E&I systems, from installation to testing and commissioning.
- Provide Technical Support and Guidance: Offer expertise and guidance to project teams and stakeholders on E&I-related matters, resolving issues and discrepancies as needed.
- Maintain Accurate Documentation: Record and document E&I activities, including drawings, specifications, and test reports, to ensure transparency and accountability.
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant trades background.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering or instrumentation roles, preferably within the construction or data centre industry.
- Strong electrical background with expertise in designing and implementing electrical systems.
- Proficiency in Spanish language is required to effectively communicate with local stakeholders and contractors.
- Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations governing electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
