About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Researcher to join our team at the Centre Tecnologic De Catalunya, specifically in the Functional Printing Embedded Devices Unit. This unit develops innovative solutions based on functional materials and devices, and we are looking for a candidate who can contribute to the development of sustainable energy technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analysis of state-of-the-art materials and technologies
  • Material processing for membranes and catalysts
  • Physicochemical characterization of materials and surfaces
  • Assembly and simulation/characterization of electrochemical cells and/or fuel cells
  • Calculation, design, programming, and/or assembly of gas control systems
  • Analysis and presentation of results and preparation of technical reports
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (BSc), Master's or PhD in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or similar disciplines
  • Essential experience of at least one subject in electrochemistry or similar
  • Previous knowledge of hydrogen production and conversion systems as sustainable energy will be valued
  • Highly valuable any experience in the development and characterization of fuel cells and electrolyzers and associated materials
